Happy Easter and Sweet Lullaby

Happy Easter to everyone. Have a safe and fun one.

We have got Hot Cross buns for breakfast this morning, Simon's Birthday tomorrow and an Egg Hunt on Sunday. A busy weekend.

I created with the sweet baby range called Lullaby for Kaisercraft this month. Perfect for these baby pictures I took for a friend.

Autumn Escape

Before I start can I just say I was blown away by all the visits and comments for the Blog Hop. Thanks for stopping by and please come again!

Autumn Escape was definitely the escape that I needed. So nice not to cook, clean or even have to think about anyone else for a few days. I had blast and would like to thank those that braved the photo walk with me. I hope you enjoyed it and got some cool photos. I cant say I was very productive on the scrapping front but managed to finish one I started at home, do a couple of others and a mini.

I have used a bit of everything with this layout. Just playing which I love to do. I have used texture paste with an embossing folder, tissue with modge podge, stamping and acrylic paint.

Cant get much simplier than this but it works for me! Love this photo of my friend's 2 girls.

And on to the fabulous event organised by Nic and Lucy. You guys did awesome.

Kaisercraft Easter Bunny Blog Hop

Hi Everyone and welcome to the third stop in our Kaisercraft, Easter Bunny Blog Hop. I hope you are having fun. You should have hopped over from Kirsty's Blog.

Make sure you play along as there's $200 worth of goodies up for grabs in the form of Kaiser's four recent collections - Bubblegum Hills, Nan's Favourites, Lullaby and Chanteuse!!

What a stunning prize! You REALLY want to win this, trust me.

Here's my Easter project:

"Easter Basket and Mini Album"

I have used the gorgeous Bubblegum Hills to create a woven basket to hold an Easter Egg. It was quite easy to construct with strips of patterned paper.

I have used the awesome Easter Egg Wooden flourishes to create a little mini album / card with an easter wish inside to go with it. I created the insert a bit like how you would a paper doll chain. I folded some paper slightly bigger than the egg shaped wooden flourish and used the flourish as a template. I then cut around it leaving a slight edge on each side so each 'page' joined together.

Now for the clue.... Somewhere in this post *wink, wink*... There's a word you need to find. It will be the third word for your sentence. It's rather big and green! After you have found it, write it down. Once you have completed your 15 word sentence, e-mail the answer to competitions(at)kaisercraft(dot)com(dot)au before 7am on the 18th of April (AEST). Too easy!
Head on over to LG’s blog this afternoon for the next Easter project and clue!!

Don't forget to go here to see the terms and conditions for winning this prize.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you all have a very hoppy Easter!
